At a local gallery there was a Japanese style tea ceremony and I took the pictures for our local newspaper. It was very interesting, but I think the tea (the green stuff on the picture is the base of the tea) fascinated me the most. Tastes interesting, but it's definitely not for every day use.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Vom Bildaufbau finde ich schade, dass der Aufmerksamkeitspunkt genau -zwischen- dem hellen Objekt am oberen Bildrand und den beiden Dosen liegt - verstärkt durch den hell-beigen "Fleck" dort...
Aber sonst.... sehr schick geworden.

Nein, das ist Matcha Tee, der besteht aus geriebenen Spitzen von ganz jungen Teeblättern. Schmeckt ein bisschen bitter, und der wird beim Aufgießen noch mit einer Art Besen durchgerührt, und wird davon ganz schaumig. Ist auf jeden Fall mal was ganz anderes als das was wir so als Tee trinken.
