So, this is mostly a thought experiment. As previous photos have established, I have really long hair, and there are those among my friends who think I should have it cut shorter than it is, even if not completely short.

And I'll never ever cut my hair that short, but I thought it might be nice to experiment on what it would look like. That's the nice thing about drawing, it's only on paper. So I took a reference shot of myself, drew that except for the hair and then constructed myself this hairstyle, which was not exactly easy to do, I had to sketch and experiment for quite a while in order to find a haircut that didn't make me look old or make my head look gigantic (I do have a large head, though, so this told me, that my big head would probably look weird with short hair, anyway.)

So in the end I decided to go with this, which is a shape that with the proper tool my hair could probably be coerced into having for about two minutes and which would then crumble in on itself and look really stupid. My hair can be really stubborn.

It doesn't resemble me much now, but whether that's because of the different hairstyle or my poor artistic skills is anyone's guess.
